Kiev, May 2010 – EKTA’s LED screens and transparent displays made from LED strips have been used to create the stage scenery for Ukraine’s Got Talent television show. The Got Talent format is conceived and owned by Simon Cowell's SYCO Company. It has spawned spin-offs in over 30 countries and now is one of the fastest growing international franchises. In Ukraine the show, which began a year ago spring and has already spun off two series with a third on the way, has become one of the most popular TV projects in recent years. EKTA has provided all the stage LED video equipment for this television project.
The central 4x4m LED display is composed of two parts that slide apart to let artists enter the stage through this video gate. It is assembled out of modules of the true black iLVM 6C-vp model with 6-mm real pixel pitch. The stairs on both sides of the central display have side surfaces that are irregular-shaped LED displays made of LVM 8C-vp model with 8-mm virtual pixel pitch. In addition, there are arched transparent vertical LED displays on the stage backdrop and video columns, which all are made of LVS 504C-SMD and LVS 50C-SMD WOWstrip LED elements. All video equipment is controlled with EKTA’s new generation ERMAC/SPU-005 unit.
EKTA’s professional LED video display solutions are specially designed for rentals, show business and television. Their key improvements include the highest in the industry brightness uniformity (99.5%) and refresh rate (up to 32 kHz) along with revolutionary color processing that allows dimming even to 0.5% of maximum brightness without losing color depth and adjusting color temperature in a wide range. They are also easy-to-use due to a simple and lightweight design (only 32 kg/m2). Their quality and reliability have been proven in more than 3,000 rental projects including the inaugural 2010 UEFA Europa League final, the OPEL booth at the world's largest motor show - IAA Cars in Frankfurt, the Sonisphere Festival, performances of such world-wide stars as Sirs Paul McCartney and Elton John, Madonna, Metallica, Scorpions, Prodigy, Machine Head, Linking Park and Iron Maiden; as well as hundreds of LED display installations in more than 20 countries worldwide.
